US Navy creates submerged remote battery-charging tech

The US Department of Defense's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SPAWAR) has built up a remote charge framework for the submerged arrangement.

Un-manned submerged vessels' (UUVs') principle applications, SPAWAR says, is a decent advancement as energizing batteries by either landing or docking with a surface ship "uncovered the warfighter and force constraints on remote self-sufficient operations."

The remote reviving venture began with a fundamental exhibition: venture chief Wayne Liu demonstrated he could run a proof-of-idea with his cell phone, ensured in a plastic sack, charging on a cushion.

That demo functioned admirably enough that SPAWAR specialists need to see norms made for "submerged remote power exchange gadgets".
