Disney+ Reduces Streaming Quality Due to Coronavirus

Disney+ which will feature a series of Marvel Movies like Loki, Wanda Vision and Falcon & the Winter Soldier, alongside other Disney 3D cartoons. Now due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Disney+ arrival in Europe today come with the degraded video quality due to massive streamer who will be at home.

They also said that due to the high demands for the Disney+ series, they need to take measures on their bandwidth by lowering it so there will not be connection issues due to overload on their server. They reduced their bandwidth to 25% on 24th March on all the Markets getting Disney+.

They also came to an agreement with the European Union to stream videos smoothly and ensure there are no issues with their broadband infrastructure.

"In the coming days, we will be monitoring Internet congestion and working closely with Internet service providers to further reduce bit rates as necessary to ensure they are not overwhelmed by consumer demand."

"We look forward to the launch of Disney+ and hope it will provide a much-needed respite for families in these challenging and trying times," the company added.

This move has been made by other streaming services to ensure more users get smooth streaming and also companies don't have too much to lose due to the coronavirus outbreak
