Another new feature WhatsApp was spotted working on is the ability for users to silence calls from unsaved numbers. When the 'Silence unknown callers' is enabled from the settings menu starting on the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android, they won't be able to successfully initiate a call.

The feature should be able to eliminate scam and spam calls on the platform since the unknown callers will not be able to reach users that have toggled on the 'Silence unknown callers' feature.
