Leaked Samsung Galaxy S24 Renders Reveal Color Choices and Exynos Chip Integration in Select Models

The design of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has been revealed through leaked renders, showcasing seven distinct color choices for the anticipated successor to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The device sports a slightly flatter yet familiar design, differing from its predecessors. Notably, some models in Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S24 series will feature the company's Exynos processors, as indicated by a statement from Qualcomm CEO Cristian Amon during an earnings call.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Leaked Renders

Fresh renders of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, generated by Phone Arena based on insights from Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) CEO Ross Young, display the flagship phone in four standard color options: Black, Gray, Violet, and Yellow. Young's predictions also hint at the possibility of three additional color choices—Light Blue, Light Green, and Orange, with an accompanying leaked image offering a visual representation of these color variations. However, it's worth noting that Samsung is planning to exclusively offer these vibrant color options through its own store.

Previous reports had suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series would be equipped with either Qualcomm or Exynos processors. In the previous year, all models in the Galaxy S23 series were fitted with a custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip. Typically, Qualcomm's mobile processors are known for their speed and reliability compared to Samsung's Exynos chips.

Qualcomm CEO Cristian Amon recently indicated that the company anticipates having the "majority share" in the chipmaker's partnership for the forthcoming Galaxy S24 series of smartphones. While the specific allocation of Exynos chips in the phone lineup remains uncertain, Amon's statement implies that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 won't be the exclusive chip powering the Galaxy S24 series.

Recent reports suggest that Samsung intends to equip the US models with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip next year, while only the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature Qualcomm's chip outside the US. The flagship Ultra model is expected to come with the latest flagship Qualcomm chip in all markets. Samsung has not yet disclosed its plans for the launch of the Galaxy S24 series or detailed information regarding the processors that will drive these handsets.
