Xiaomi Redmi Y2 now Receiving MIUI 10 Stable Update
Xiaomi Redmi Y2 phone is now receiving MIUI 10 Stable Update not long after they released MIUI 9.5 for Android Oreo in June 2018. This is the stable version as Xiaomi promised it will not exceed this month.
MIUI 10 Stable Update carries the version number MIUI 10.0.1.0.OEFMIFH and the download size is around 500 MB.
Xiaomi Redmi Y2 users in India received the stable MIUI 10 Update first and the update also comes with August security patch and some new features like Full-screen gestures, Driving mode, Improved multitasking management, New Notification interface, New volume slider UI, improved recent Menu, Xiao I and lots more.
To Update your Xiaomi Redmi Y2, you need to head to Settings > About > Software Update. This will be an official update and it's via OTA. Make sure you have enough storage and MB/GB for successful install and download respectively.
