Oppo Reno A With Dual Rear Camera, 16-MP Selfie Launched: Specs & Price


    Oppo Reno A smartphone has been launched and the phone comes with dual rear camera setup which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance its photo captures. The phone is also water and dust resistance while it also comes with a waterdrop-style display notch and houses an in-display fingerprint sensor.

    The Oppo Reno A was also listed in Japan today by Rakuten Mobile and it is set at JPY 39,380 (N132,140) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while the color options are Black and Blue. The phone goes on sale on October 18, 2019. Pre-order is available now on Amazon Japan.

    The Reno A also comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the 128GB storage variant. The device price is JPY 38,800 (N130194) and it will take months (if not years) before its launch in Nigeria.

    The phone features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. As for the phone's SIM, it is dual and supports only Nano Slots, while the Reno A runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6 on top from box.

    If you love fast devices, then the RAM of this phone will you well - 6GB of RAM and it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC.

    The dual rear camera setup comprises of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary, depth sensor. The selfie camera is very clear that no front flash is needed - 25MP.

    The SD card allows expansion up to 256GB for both 64GB ROM and 128GB variants. It is interesting to know the phone is 4G LTE, allows Micro-USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

    Interestingly, it features an in-display fingerprint. This means you unlock the device with your finger on the screen rather than an external fingerprint at the back or home key.

    Lastly, the Oppo Reno A packs a 3,600mAh battery and measures 158.4x75.4x7.8mm.
