Red Magic 8S Pro Smartphone with Revolutionary 24GB RAM Details Surfaces

The Red Magic 8S Pro, set to be released in China on July 5, is the anticipated successor to the Red Magic 7S Pro, which debuted in July 2022. Its predecessor featured a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging capability.

Last year, in January, the company introduced the Red Magic 8 Pro, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. Red Magic recently unveiled the RAM and processor specifications for the upcoming Red Magic 8S Pro.

The official Weibo page of Red Magic confirmed that the Red Magic 8S Pro will be launched on July 5, boasting an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version SoC. In a separate announcement, the company revealed that the phone will feature an impressive 24GB of RAM, excluding virtual RAM.

According to a recent report, major smartphone manufacturers such as Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme are also developing devices with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is rumored to launch in July or August, featuring a 24GB RAM variant.

A FoneArena report suggests that the Red Magic 8S Pro will likely offer 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It's worth noting that the Red Magic 8 Pro already provides a 16GB + 1TB configuration. The phone is expected to showcase a 6.8-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

So, in terms of photography, the Red Magic 8S Pro is anticipated to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography. The front camera is likely to house a 16-megapixel sensor beneath the display.

At its launch, the Obsidian version of the Nubia Red Magic 7S Pro with 12GB + 256GB was priced at $729 (approximately Rs. 59,000). Additionally, the Mercury and Supernova variants with 8GB + 512GB were listed at $899 (around Rs. 72,000).
