While the official name remains unconfirmed, hints point to its grand debut at the 2024 Galaxy Unpacked event, coinciding with the launch of the Galaxy S24 smartphone series.

Renowned tipster Ice Universe, in a Weibo post, anticipates that the smart ring will steal the spotlight at the 2024 Galaxy Unpacked event, possibly scheduled for January next year. Speculation has long surrounded Samsung's smart ring, with rumors suggesting it will supplant the Galaxy Watch as Samsung's primary health-tracking tool.

Though Samsung has not yet officially acknowledged the product or its nomenclature, reports indicate the company has trademarked several potential names for this smart wearable. Among the possibilities are Galaxy One, Galaxy Pulse, Galaxy Rhythm, Galaxy Index, Galaxy Insight, and Galaxy Circle.

Previously, a United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) filing revealed that the rumored Galaxy Ring is designed to track, measure, and monitor health, fitness, and sleep-related data. It aims to collect "biometric and physiological data, vital signs, and personal health records" to offer medical guidance when needed.

One distinguishing feature of the Galaxy Ring is its array of sensors along the inner surface, promising enhanced accuracy in health data monitoring. Leaks have showcased the smart ring with a sleek metallic finish.
