Google new Chrome web browser update, version 64 now enables the user to easily block websites and blogs that have autoplay video and its audio entirely. This is one cool feature for you and me. Google doesn't like such ads which are unfriendly to visitors and the website itself.

The update is automatic, so you should have the latest Chrome, so to easily disable the video ad, do the following;

  • First Right click on the tab
  • Now select 'Mute site' to completely mute it.

New features added include malware protection -  Meltdown and Spectre attacks on Chrome, HDR support and now if you have a Windows 10 Computer compactable to HDR-compatible hardware and HDR display, you can now play HDR content in the browser if available.
