This is a hidden trick which many VLC media player users aren't aware of. VLC gives you an option to convert any video to different formats without downloading any additional software. Below is what to do

• Open VLC media player and Click On “Media” which is located at the top-right corner of the screen. Now Select Convert/Save. Or Press “CTRL + R”.
• Now a Window will pop up, Simply click on Add and choose the file you want to convert, and  Click on Convert/save.
• Then Select the type of the file format you want it to convert to. video encoding tweak available too.

2. Watch Youtube Videos without Ads in VLC

This is one feature many will find handy becuase many users often use Youtube either to seek advice or to learn tutorial videos. VLC media player allows you t watch youtube videos and not jsut that, but without Ads.

• Open VLC media player and Click On “Media” to Select “Open Network Stream”. CTRL + N also works.
• Open Youtube and open any Video, Copy the URL.

3. Sync Audio in VLC

VLC comes to our rescue, you can easily create a snapshot of your video on your Computer. All you need to do is Right click on the video while it’s playing, Hover your Mouse on Video option which is in Context Menu and then Select Take Snapshot.

5. Use Video as Desktop Wallpaper Using VLC

This is one trick 90% don't know of, or how it works. VLC is practically the only Media Player app that offers this feature to Replace Desktop wallpaper with a Video Using  VLC Media Player. Even popular MX player doesn't have this feature intact.

To do this select a video and begin playing it with VLC. Right-click on the screen, select Video, then select Set as Wallpaper.
