Airtel Gives Out Free 200MB For Internet Service Disruption
Many users have been complaining for weeks that they can't activate their Airtel Data even when they have a data subscription enabled on their sim card. This caused commotion online especially on twitter and finally, Airtel responded by giving Free 200MB to Customers.
Many Airtel Subscribers were browsing when their data went off and their subscription wasn't paused. Also, calls weren't going through and messages couldn't be sent. Below are some Airtel subscriber comments concerning this matter. I am sure you also experienced this when this wasn't fixed, it wasn't just you.
These were some selected angry subscribers who couldn't use Airtel to browse for over 7 hours, not even night plan could indicate data connection. Below is what Airtel sent to inform all users they were sorry for the inconvenienced caused.
Then Airtel finally sent this after customers insisted that Airtel send them Free MB as a compensation to the data downtime.
