Hack iPhone: Apple offers $1000000 to anyone Who Can Hack an iPhone
Sure, you read the post title properly, Apple is offering $1 million dollars to anyone who can successfully hack an iPhone device. This project allows apple to test their devices and see if there are any vulnerability and bugs that need attention.
This is also Apple's bounty program which was launched in 2016, this is an official Black Hat program which will be held in Las Vegas Thursday, CNET reports. The formal price has been increased from $200,000 to now $1 million for the first time. Also, this offer to hack an iPhone is not limited to few devices, all iPhone Gadgets are eligible which are iOS, iCloud, tvOS, iPadOS, watchOS and macOS.
The program can be applied by anyone, no more needed an invitation to join and if you find other vulnerabilities, not related to hacking the iPhone, you will get $500,000.
"It is important for companies, especially those dealing with mounds of sensitive personal data, to have a public-facing way to report bugs and vulnerabilities," Marten Mickos, CEO of the bug bounty platform HackerOne, said in a statement.

Companies now often open up to white hat hackers by using these bounty programs to pay them for their vulnerability discovery instead of allowing them to use their knowledge for a black hat, they'll be rewarded. Most times, these companies' security analyst usually miss some bugs which can be used for malicious purposes, those who enrolled in the bounty program are usually the ones to detect such malfunction on their systems.
