WhatsApp Adds New Dark Mode Solid Colour Options on Android
WhatsApp has added new Solid Colour Options for the Android version, this can be seen via Google Play Beta programme - WhatsApp beta. The stable release will surface in the coming weeks for all users. The Whatsapp Beta version 2.20.31 Google Play Beta programme has access to the updated dark theme.
WAetainfo confirms that the WhatsApp beta dark mode update comes with six solid colour options - Black, Brown, Blue, Purple, Red and Green.
This black theme helps conserve battery on OLED screen phones and reduce screen light effect on the eyes, while the other colours are just for showoff, nothing else, you can exclude brown colour though, might help for some, like me.
