Google Chrome Update | Tab Management, Fast Page Loads
Google Chrome update is coming with new improvements like a faster page load, better Tab Management, Tab previews that comes with a thumbnail preview of the page, and more.
Google Chrome update is focused at it's tabs performance improvement, there is a new tap grouping feature that helps you filter tabs by topic, collase and expand it. This tab grouping is just like Chrome desktop folders bookmarks, this helps you categorize your stared web-pages for easy access.
The speed improvements of Chrome comes from the tabs feature, this improvements could lead to a 10% faster page loads, low battery discharge rate, and lesser RAM utilization. These features will roll out to all users gradually since it's still in beta mode.
It's now evident that there have been massive tweaks in Chrome browsers by it's users trying to improve the performance of the browser, Chrome takes too much RAM, more internet connection, and sometimes freezes. So Alex Ainslie, Director of UX, Google Chrome, said in a blog post that it want to help such people be more productive.
In addition, how the tabs proviews works is that when you hove over a tab, you'll see the thumbnail preview of the page. Indeed useful for people having over 30 tabs making it hard to differentiate which they need to open.
Also you can easily see which tab to switch two when you use the search feature, just search the page title in the addeess bar and you'll see relevant tabs. This has rolled out for Chrome PC users already, it will also be possibly released for Android as well.
A feature I can't wait for is the URL sharing, you can quickly copy a link and send it to Chrome for other devices, and also see links through other tabs. Also, you will be able fill out PDF docs and save them with your inputs directly from Chrome.
