Samsung Galaxy Watch 4/5 Series now receiving One UI 5 & Wear OS 4 Update

Reports suggest that Samsung is now rolling out the Galaxy Watch 6 series' One UI 5 Watch software update, which is based on Wear OS 4, for the Galaxy Watch 4/Classic and Galaxy Watch 5/Pro users in South Korea. The anticipated improvements in this update encompass enhanced health sensors, improved SOS functionality, enhanced sleep-tracking capabilities, and personalized heart rate zone information.

According to report from Sammobile, users of the Galaxy Watch 5 series in South Korea can now access the latest One UI 5 Watch update through the Galaxy Wearable app on their smartphones. This update brings several notable features, including a revamped Sleep Insights user interface, enhanced SOS functionality, and real-time running analysis through personalized heart rate zones.

Moreover, the One UI 5 Watch update is expected to introduce new watch faces and Tiles. For instance, the Galaxy Buds Tile allows users to conveniently toggle 360 Audio on or off. Another noteworthy addition is the ability to set a photo album as the watch's wallpaper or background, rather than being limited to a single image.

The update also facilitates the process of pairing the smartwatch with a new phone without necessitating a factory reset. Notable features include the capability to manage calls via the Galaxy controls for call volume, muting, and support for voice dictation, among other functionalities. Users will also be able to easily check the watch's battery status, storage details, and memory information.
