Latest Google Chrome (Beta) Allows Users To Disable Autoplay Videos
The latest Google chrome beta application allows users to disable auto play videos on destops and Laptops.
Chrome 64 makes auto play videos to automatically mute. You can download the Chrome 64 beta, as spotted by Engadget. Chrome said the full autoplay video blocking feature, will be fully available for users as of January 2018. They are also making efforts to make ad blocking better
The setting to mute autoplay Vidoes or contentsautomatically can be seen in Chrome 64’s permissions bar. Note, this is not a one-time setting, you will have to disable auto play feature on each website, but chrome will mute sound for any content that is navigated to under the parent domain.
According to 9to5Google, Chrome 64 include an, additional security measures that prevent malicious auto-redirects, improved pop-up blocker, and support for HDR video playback on Windows 10 HDR mode.
Also, there is a new feature on Chrome OS, which is called “split view”, this allows users to easily open multiple windows at a time. Chrome 64 has so many new features that users will be delited of.

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to test it out. Good for the update. Sometimes they just start playing video when i have plenty windows open, befor i can find the window and video i will se it's a pure HD video wasting my data. Imagine that. Happy they have fixed that
