How To Download and Install iOS 13 on iPhone, iPod Touch 2019

iOS 13 will be released today for all compatible iPhone and iPod touch devices. This is the latest iOS version which was unveiled at WWDC 2019 in June 2019. This new iOS 13 comes with Dark Mode Photo, and Video Editing Features and new all in one sign-in for apps and websites formally know as Sign In with Apple.

During the Launch of iPhone 11, Apple announced today will be the release date of iOS 13 and it won't affect iPadOS version because it is scheduled for Sep 30th. iPhone 6s and iPod Touch seventh-generation users can download and install iOS 13 for Free.

The complete list of compatible iPhone Devices and iPod Touch phones to receive iOS 13 are iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, and the seventh-generation iPod touch.

How To Download iOS 13 on Apple Devices

Before we begin, you need to backup your personal data like pictures, videos and social media chats just in case things go wrong. Also makes sure your iPhone or iPod battery health is above 70% so it wouldn't fully discharge while updating, this can damage the device.


Step One: Connect to the Internet and Open Settings.

Step Two: Head to General.

Step Three: Click on Software Update.

It will begin checking for software updates on your iOS device, ones it detects iOS 13 can be installed on your compatible phone, it will bring an option to download it.

Although iOS 13 allows 200MB download over cellular, you need WI FI to download the update for it to start. So one the hotspot of another device with a strong internet connection and begin downloading your new iOS13 after accepting the terms and conditions.
