WhatsApp Coming with Self-Destructing 'Delete Message' Feature
WhatsApp is currently working on a new Delete message feature which lets you choose how long a message should be allowed to be active before it can be deleted. This is a renamed feature of WhatsApp "Delete Messages" which previously allowed users to delete messages. How will this new self-destruct feature work?
First and foremost, this feature is still under development and not available for everyone, it is currently in the Latest Android Beta. Also, the WhatsApp Self-Destructing message is available in dark mode.
This WhatsApp Delete message timer is similar to Telegram's Delete for all, although it was taken too far to allow others to delete your own messages, making it the home town for scammers, nevertheless, this is a cool feature, letting you delete messages based on the time or hour set.
Options included in this new WhatsApp features include Delete Message for - one hour, one day, one week, one month, and one year. The message deletes automatically even when you are offline, o.e it is based on the time set from your own phone, there is no need getting hold of the other party's device or account.
This will be a new feature to test, although not even in the latest beta program, it is in development and we've all seen tracker WABetaInfo images officially on how it works.
