The beta release lets users test what WhatsApp has to offer on the upcoming build of their social media app, so this means it will be unstable on some devices and the later official build of the app can differ after some major updates on the test program.

WhatsApp Dark Mode for iPhone can be gotten on your device before the official and stable release if you download the beta build of WhatsApp through the Apple's TestFlight program for testing WhatsApp's beta build, but if the program is full, meaning no one is allowed to join again till someone leaves and then you replace their spot, you can't do anything about it, except you know someone using Apple phone who has installed the app, then it can be shared to you.
